Terms of Service

These terms describe the conditions for using PolyMapper. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to accept them for that organization. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

The service

PolyMapper lets you create and edit polygon layers, import and export GeoJSON, use available administrative boundaries, and retrieve polygon data through the documented API. It is not a surveying, cadastral, legal-boundary, or safety-critical system. Verify geometry and source accuracy before relying on results.

GeoJSON is the supported export format. Polygon editing has practical browser and geometry limits; unsupported split or merge operations may be rejected. Undo currently covers polygon creation within the current workspace session, not a complete revision history. Shared editing and additional export formats are not included.

Your account and content

Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and API keys, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access. You retain your rights in content you upload or create and permit us to process it as needed to operate the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use that content.

Premium, trials, and billing

Creating and editing data, in-app GeoJSON exports, and API access require an active Premium subscription or eligible trial. An eligible new subscriber may start a 7-day trial through Stripe checkout with a payment method. Account registration alone does not start the trial. Returning subscribers may not be eligible for another trial; checkout shows the applicable offer.

The current price, currency, taxes, trial end, and recurring billing terms are shown at checkout before you confirm. Subscriptions renew monthly unless canceled. A trial converts to paid billing unless you cancel before its displayed end time. Review the checkout details before subscribing.

Cancellation, refunds, and deletion

Use Account and billing to cancel renewal or manage your subscription. A scheduled cancellation normally leaves access available through the current trial or paid period. After expiry, paid editing, in-app export, and API features stop; you can still sign in to view and delete your stored data or contact support for a personal-data request.

Deleting your account is different from canceling renewal: it closes subscriptions and removes the active account and workspace. Export anything you need first. If deletion fails, contact support rather than assuming it completed.

Contact support about mistaken charges, refunds, or withdrawal rights. Refund and consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected by these terms. Do not assume a refund has been approved until confirmed.

Acceptable use

Do not use PolyMapper unlawfully, infringe others' rights, expose other people's private data without authority, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or usage restrictions, or share credentials for unauthorized access. API and import limits protect service stability.

Boundary data and third-party services

Imported and built-in datasets may have separate attribution and licensing requirements. Check the original source and its license before using or redistributing a dataset. Availability and accuracy of boundaries are not guaranteed. Maps and payment services also depend on third-party providers.

Privacy and support

Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing and your choices. Email support is available through the support page. No guaranteed response time or service-level agreement is offered here.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the service reliable, but interruptions, errors, or maintenance may occur. Keep independent copies of important data. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied without a promise that it will meet every use case or be continuously available. Nothing here limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.

Suspension and changes

We may restrict access when necessary to address misuse, security risks, or nonpayment, subject to applicable law. We will provide notice where appropriate. Material changes to these terms will be published with an updated date and communicated where required.

Disputes

Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or remove your right to bring a claim before a competent court or consumer authority under applicable law.
