By accessing or using PolyMapper ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
PolyMapper provides an online platform for creating, editing, and managing geographic polygon data. The Service includes:
- Interactive map-based polygon editor
- Layer management and organization
- Import and export of GeoJSON data
- Access to administrative boundary data
- API access for premium users
Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Subscription Plans
Free Plan
- Create and edit polygons
- Layer management & undo history
- Exports not included
- API access not included
Premium Plan
- Create and edit polygons
- Layer management & undo history
- Workspace & layer exports (GeoJSON, KML, CSV)
- PolyMapper API access
- Priority support
Payment and Billing
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You agree that:
- Payments are processed by Stripe
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
- Refunds are provided at our discretion
- You are responsible for applicable taxes
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the Service for any harmful or illegal purpose
- Scrape or abuse our API beyond reasonable use
- Resell or redistribute our service without permission
Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of polygon data you create. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
Our Service
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by PolyMapper and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Boundary Data
Administrative boundary data is provided from public sources. Specific datasets may have their own licenses which you must comply with.
Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That data will never be lost (please maintain backups)
- That the Service will meet all your requirements
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay for premium services
You may cancel your account at any time through the account settings.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLYMAPPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PolyMapper from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
